I'm new here, where do I begin?
Whether you are here to become a part of our forum community or to request a makeover for your own ProBoards forum – a trip to the Arrivals & Departures board is a great place to start. Introduce yourself to the rest of the forum.
Neither of the F.A.Q's have answered my question, what do I do?

Are there hidden boards on this forum?
Yes, several.
What is a warning?
You will be issued a warning if you violate the rules. You will be informed upon receiving this warning, which will appear as a notice in your custom title; the text space underneath your display name and your rank.
How long will this warning last?
Warnings are generally issued for a period of two months. If you continue to violate the rules during this warning period, you will be banned from the forum.
Is it possible to receive more than one warning?
Yes. After the two months warning period, you may be given another if you further violate the rules. Although the likelihood is your account will be banned at this stage.
However, it is impossible to obtain two warnings at the same time. If you continue to violate the rules whilst in your warning period, you will be banned.
How many skins are there?
The forum has two skins for Version One, the first designed by Emily Jordan, the second by Blink. You can select which skin to use from your profile page. Both follow a blue colour scheme.
I need to host my images, where can I do this?

I don’t understand the staff ranks, what are they for?
Every staff member of the forum has a coloured username, either red, orange or green.
Red – Administration Manager. The Administration Managers have unlimited global powers over the forum. They founded, manage and update the forum and the service it provides.
Orange – Design/Coding Managers. The Managers have global powers over the forum, though somewhat limited. Specifically, they oversee their particular areas of expertise, whether it be coding or design. Primarily, their tasks lie within the makeover system, though they also moderate the more general-themed boards of the forum.
Green - Design/Coding Staff. This group of staff have limited powers only over the boards they have been specifically assigned to. Their tasks also lie within the makeover system, as well as moderating their individually assigned boards.
All staff at ProBoards Pro are helpful volunteers. The service we provide is not an official business. As such, the staff members are not paid according to a strict salary. As helpful volunteers, many receive monthly percentages of the donations received from members who participate in our service. The cost we require for certain makeover packages is more of a donation for our hard work than a fee.
I want to become a moderator, how do I do this?
Occasionally, we will require a new moderator. A moderator has no ties to the makeover system, their sole task is to moderate the specific boards they are assigned to. However, you cannot achieve a moderator rank through a staffing application. If there is a need for a new moderator, the current staff team will select this moderator from the active members of the forum. Members have no say in this selection. Asking to become a moderator will only weaken your chances.
The Staff Applications[/i] board may only be used to apply for a position on the Makeover Team.
Someone has broken the rules, can't I just tell them not to?
It’s best left to staff, that is what they are here for.
It’s been two months and my warning hasn’t gone, why not?
Warnings should be removed. If not, pm one of the managing staff.

Will the ranking system ever change or update?
As time goes on, forum activity will increase. So yes, in the future, ranks may well change.

What is a custom title?
A custom title is a text phrase or an image that can be placed in your profile, below your rank and its stars. The custom title feature will be used if you have a warning.
Can I have a custom title?
You may request a custom title of your own choice from an administration or coding/design manager once you have 700 posts or more.
When will the next monthly news letter be released?
The Monthly Newsletters are published once a month, around the 22nd of each month.
Why is nobody helping me with my coding/graphic request?
Please be patient. Remember, all members including the staff here, are merely helpful volunteers. They do not receive rewards for doing so.
Where can I advertise?
Four places in total.
1. In the advertising section once you have ten posts or more.
2. In the affiliating section, affiliating your minibanner with our own.
3. In your profile signature.
4. In your profile website section.
5. In your profile personal text.
6. In your profile custom title.
Why are some of the boards closed?
A board may be closed for one of the following reasons…
1. It is being remodeled.
2. It has been temporarily closed due to a lack of activity.
3. The board’s content is irrelevant or out of date.
4. It is a staff-only board.
Also, the Staff Applications board is usually closed. The only time we open it, is when we are looking for new members of staff.
What is this Version 2?
Version 2 refers to a future update of the forum, in which many features will be changed and improved.
When will Version 2 arrive?
Honestly, we don’t have any idea. This forum is still in its early stages and Version 2 will be implemented when some of the aspects of the forum begin to grow stale. Be patient, enjoy Version 1 while it lasts!
Why is so-and-so a moderator? They're not even active!
If a moderator is not active, there will probably be a just reason behind their absence.
Remember as well, that the fact moderators haven't posted in a while may not necessarily mean they haven't been online. They may also have logged in as invisible users.
Also, keep in mind that the makeover team’s primary task is to assist with the makeovers themselves rather than to moderate boards.
How do I become invisible?
There is an option available in every member's profile. Being invisible allows you to appear offline to other members, though staff will still be able to see you.
Which staff members were here when the forum began?
Charlie, Jason, Jordan, Emmie, Shamono and Zap.
Why was my affiliate removed?
Either…
1. You have removed our affiliate minibanner from your forum.
2. There is a problem with your minibanner image.
3. Your forum has become inactive.
If you would like to re-apply for affiliation, create another thread.
How do I report someone?
By sending a message to either an administration or a coding/design manager.
Can I submit an idea for this F.A.Q?
